Claudia is an outstanding singer/songwriter who has shared stages with Dave Carter and Tracy Grammer, Steve Forbert, Tish Hinojosa, Kris Kristoffersen, Willie Nelson, Darryl Purpose, Peter Rowan, Rosalie Sorrels and Bill Staines, among others. She is most often seen accompanied by her husband Bruce Kaplan, on mandolin, guitar and vocals, and Mark Petrella on string bass. When the planets align, she is pleased to also count Carl Byron and Eric Lewis in her band, the Folk Unlimited Orchestra.

Boston's WUMB FM named Claudia the Best New Artist of 2000, and she has twice been selected as a finalist in the Kerrville New Folk songwriting competition. Claudia was a 2004 finalist in the Sisters Folk Festival Songwriters contest in Bend Oregon and the 2002 KRCL Songwritingcontest in Salt Lake City. She is an expressive and versatile singer, as at home on a soulful ballad as a Buddy Holly style romp.

Claudia's newest CD is Live Band Tonight, a collection of live recordings from performances at the Freight and Salvage, Live From Studio One and Folkscene, the longest running Folk radio show in history, hosted by Roz and Howard Larman. Claudia's 2nd CD, Ready To Receive, has been well received by more than 75 radio stations and features 7 songs written by Claudia. You may download the a free track from the link to the right. Claudia's father Val Rosing (aka Gilbert Russell) was a musician too! He had a million selling record as vocalist with Heny Hall's Dance Hall Orchestra on the original BBC recording of “Teddy Bears Picnic,” which was recently used as the soundtrack a Microsoft Xbox commercial. You can read about him here. We have just released Try A Little Tenderness, a 24 song compilation of his best recordings, digitally remastered from the original 78s.

Claudia's grandfather Vladimir Rosing was also a prominent musician of his time who staged operas at the Hollywood Bowl and started the Opera department at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester NY. >
